Dr. Henbest
|
Dr. Henbest has been interested and active in dentistry for as long as he can remember. Born and raised right here in Arkansas, he took a liking to dentistry in his childhood, began working for his family dentist at the age of 13, then worked a dental lab technician throughout his college years. In 1981, he graduated with a B.S. in Natural Science from the University of Arkansas, and went on to earn his D.D.S. in 1985 from the University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School. Even at that early point in his career, The American Academy of General Dentistry awarded him recognition as the most outstanding senior; the American Academy of Periodontal Disease awarded his outstanding achievements in periodontics (the study of the tissues and structures surrounding the teeth); he also received distinction in the area of fixed prosthetics (crown and bridgework).
Since then, he has focused his continuing education studies on the latest techniques and materials pertinent to both implant and cosmetic reconstructive dentistry. In practice, this training enables him to establish solid foundational bite mechanics, in support of further cosmetic enhancements.
